Policies
We have authors from all over the world, which means that there is often a time difference. Occasionally, vacation time is needed to recharge the creativity battery, but an automated message will be set up on our email during such times.
Time until Finished Product is completed:
Our average turn around is 4 weeks. However, this does vary. We can give you a projected date when we expect to be finished, but this may be slightly altered based on several factors, such as requested changes, communication, etc. Please allow some leeway in case an extension is needed.
Refunds:
We will work with you until you are satisfied with your cover. As a rule, we try to charge as little as possible and it is incredibly rare for an author to request a refund.
Once we have decided on the particulars of the services, the price will reflect that, additional fees may apply if you alter your vision. Refunds are only given in the case that we are unable to complete the service. Unable to complete the service is defined, as our lack of willingness to continue working on a project.
Should we find that a refund is a necessity, the price of the stock photos (if used) will be subtracted from the amount you were originally charged.
In cases when the work is partially completed, the time spent on the cover shall be taken into account, when considering the amount we will refund. Should it occur that service is partially finished, but we excuse ourselves from completing said project, in most cases we will give written permission for another artist to build upon our creation.
Photographs: In some cases, you may wish for us to incorporate a photo into your graphic, which you have supplied us with. In this case, we need written permission from the photographer and model. We cannot use someone's work or likeness without their permission. If we are supplied with written permission, the image must be high resolution in 300DPI.
